How’s Yours?

A quick game to try to discover a mystery body part

Instructions

How’s yours is a game that works well sat in a circle. But it can also be played online, while on a walk or even on a car or coach journey.

How to play

Choose someone to go out of the room (or to turn off the sound on their computer and turn around).

The rest of the group decide on a part of the body eg: eye, ear, chin, toenail.

The person comes back and goes round the group asking people “How’s yours?” to which the reply might be “short and fat” or “hairy”.

After a while the person asking the questions will try and guess what part of the body it is.

You can limit the number of guesses they are allowed if they are finding it too easy – or give extra clues. if someone is struggling.

Choose a new person and start again.

Take it further

This is taken from the book Games, Games, Games, a publication with around 250 group games. The games are essentially co-operative in nature and develop skills and attitudes which encourage learning together and supporting one another.

If you enjoyed playing this game in your group, you could also try playing would you rather.

It is great we are starting to have face to face activities again – make sure you and your group stay safe by following our latest guidelines on physical meetings.
