If they were a colour… is a thinking game that requires a bit of concentration from all the players.
How to play
Depending on the make up of your group, it may be worth having a quick chat about positivity before you start – this is a fun guessing game and not to be used to be mean to or about anyone.
One person is chosen to be the guesser and they go out of the room (or turn off their computer audio and turn around).
The other players decide on a member of their group that they will all ‘answer for.’
The guesser rejoins the group and asks questions such as – “If they were a colour, what colour would they be?” (try also a food; a make of car; an animal, a historical figure, a sport)
The other players make suggestions – which should all be positive ones – and the guesser tries to work out who it is.
Take it further
This is taken from the book Games, Games, Games, a publication with around 250 group games. The games are essentially co-operative in nature and develop skills and attitudes which encourage learning together and supporting one another.
