My Perfect World

Use your creativity to create your perfect world - what would you keep and what would you change?

My Perfect World – use your creativity and whatever craft resources you have to hand to create your ideal world. Think about what you want to keep like it is now. Are there things you want to improve? How about what you want to get rid of or change completely?

You could redesign your home life, your local area, the country or the whole planet. Think about what it looks like, what you do in it, and what it feels like for different people.

My Perfect World – design and build

Create your perfect world. You could draw a picture of what some of it would look like, or create a blueprint for how a larger section would be structured.  It might be fun to build your perfect world in 3d, using boxes, cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, whatever you can find in your home.

If you are more into words than pictures, you could create a mini zine detailing all that’s great in your new utopia. Or you could create it as a newspaper that is being distributed once your world is a reality.

Share your design with someone else, and explain to them what makes it perfect. Ask other people what their perfect world would be and see where it is similar or different to your own.

Take it Further

Post a photo of the ideal world you have created on social media with the hashtag #DreamBigAtHome. You could also check out Build Back Better, all about how we might change our world in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
