Rainbow walk

Go for a walk and find a rainbow

Instructions

Taking in our surroundings whilst we are out and about can make our daily exercise much more fun! How many colours of the rainbow can you spot on your walk, cycle, run, skate or scooter?

What to do

Decide where you are going to take your exercise and what mode of transport you are taking (e.g. on foot, bike, skateboard, scooter etc.). Perhaps you want to explore somewhere new on your rainbow walk, have a look at public footpaths in your area, do you know them all?

Set off on your journey. As you go look out for things that are the colours of the rainbow.

See if you can find something red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.

Take a photo of what you see, or draw a picture of them. Can you find things of different colours that are different shapes too? Or things of the same shape that are different colours?

Take it Further

Post a photo of your rainbow on social media with the hashtag #DreamBigAtHome to let us know what you have found plus you could add your pictures to our Cooperative Rainbow. You could also use your rainbow pictures to make a treasure hunt for your friends and family who live in your area.

This is a weekly challenge activity. Why not share a photo of what you achieve on social media using the hashtag #DreamBigAtHome?

Enjoyed this?
