What’s That Noise? is a listening and guessing game.
Preparation
To prepare this activity someone records some household noises.
For example: Toilet flushing, tap running, running up and down the stairs, telephone ringing, door bell…
Playing the game
In the activity these are played back and the children have to guess what they are.
The older the children, the more obscure you can make the noises. For example: the wipe of boots on a doormat, the strike of a match, the gurgle of a plughole.
How many could they guess? What was the trickiest?
