It’s Fairtrade Fortnight!  Come and make some easy fairtrade flapjacks! This session will be a cooking demonstration and all participants are encouraged to bake along and make some delicious flapjacks.

For the session you will need:

• Set of weighing scales
• Big spoon for mixing or hand blender
• Big bowl
• Shallow baking tin/tray (approx 30cmx20cm)
• 175g unsalted butter, softened, plus extra for greasing
• 175g caster sugar, plus 15g for dusting (optional)
• 225g self raising flour
• 100g porridge oats
• 3 Fairtrade bananas
• 50g sultanas (or raisins or any dried fruit of choice)
